VIP-PACKAGES
When you buy a VIP ticket, you choose your seat in the front five rows of seats. Not only do you enjoy an unbeatable view of the action on stage, but also extra comfort and more legroom (VIP+ only).
Our VIP bar area is exclusively available to you before the performance and during the interval, where you can enjoy selected drinks without having to wait.
Conductor and artistic director of the Vienna Opera Summer, Joji Hattori, will come to the VIP area during the interval and is looking forward to talking to you.

HELPING ACTION MAKES YOU STRONG!
The Wiener Opernsommer is pleased to announce its partnership with Volkshilfe Wien . Members of Volkshilfe Wien will be provided with a contingent of seats in the various seating categories free of charge in 2025. These tickets will be offered to Volkshilfe Wien members on a first come, first served basis.
By becoming a member of Volkshilfe Wien, you support its activities. Your contribution helps to maintain and continuously expand services. In this way, the needs of those people in Vienna who need our support the most can be specifically addressed
Discounts
- Wheelchair spaces are available and can be booked when purchasing tickets online.
- Persons with a degree of disability of 50% or more receive a 50% discount on ticket purchases upon presentation of their disability pass. This applies to all performances on regular sale (in categories A-E).
- To book discounted tickets online, you must register once at tickets.opernsommer.at (create a customer account).
Please then send a copy of your disability pass to tickets@opernsommer.at. After registration, you can also purchase discounted tickets in our online ticket shop. - If an accompanying person is listed on your disability pass, you can also book a ticket for them with a 50% discount.
- To book discounted tickets online, you must register once at tickets.opernsommer.at (create a customer account).
- Pupils, students and apprentices receive a 30% discount on the ticket price in categories A-E.
Subsequent consideration of various discounts (after tickets have been purchased) is not possible. The discounts are valid until further notice and the number of discounted tickets is limited.
