Martina Neubauer
The Viennese soprano MARTINA NEUBAUER inspires with a broad repertoire, from opera and operetta to song and oratorio.
In 2023, she appeared as Dido in Purcell's opera "Dido and Aeneas" at the MuTh, as Eva the Diva in the production "Von 0 bis Oper" at the MusikTheater an der Wien and as Countess Zedlau in Johann Strauss' "Wiener Blut" at the TAG. She also performed in the concert "Operettenzauber" at the Lehár Festival in Bad Ischl. She has already worked with conductors such as Jürgen Goriup, Laszlo Gyüker, Walter Kobéra, Erich Polz and Guido Mancusi. In 2024, she will perform the role of the Mother in the production of Richard III under the musical direction of Benjamin Bayl at the MusikTheater an der Wien.
She regularly performs as a soloist in church music, for example at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna and St. Pölten Cathedral, as well as in concerts such as Michael Schade's Musiksalon at the MuTh.
In 2022, Martina Neubauer won first prize at the Austrian LIONS Music Prize and was awarded the Gabriele Sima Singing Scholarship in the same year. In 2023, she won the Musica Juventutis competition at the Wiener Konzerthaus and will therefore perform in the Schubert Hall in the 2024/25 season.
In June 2024, the soprano will complete her master's degree in solo singing at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna. From February to June 2023, she also attended the "Classical Operetta" university course as a guest under the direction of Wolfgang Dosch. She was also part of master classes with Ian Bostridge, Adrian Eröd, Marisol Montalvo and Aleksey Igudesman.
