Johannes Bamberger is a sought-after lieder and oratorio singer who has performed at the St. Pölten and Grafenegg Festivals, the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad and the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, the Carinthian Summer Festival, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Musikverein Vienna, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Harnoncourt Tage St. Georgen and most recently at the Philharmonie de Paris and the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid. From 2018 to 2020, Johannes Bamberger was a member of the Junges Ensemble at the Theater an der Wien and has since returned regularly to the MusikTheater an der Wien as a guest.
