From 1st – 20th July 2024, you can experience the first Vienna Opera Summer in the unique atmosphere of the park of the Belvedere Palace. Under the patronage of Vienna’s Mayor Dr. Michael Ludwig and with Joji Hattori as Artictic Director, we present ten extraordinary performances of Mozart's masterpiece "Don Giovanni".

This year, the Vienna Opera Summer is kicking off with a big bang. The festival promises to enrich Vienna's cultural landscape during the summer.

A LARGE SELECTION OF FOOD TRUCKS WILL PROVIDE CULINARY DELIGHTS.

The magnificent scenery of the Belvedere Palace becomes the stage setting of the opera and promises to captivate all visitors. The Vienna Opera Summer celebrates its first season with a strong commitment to promoting many artists, creating a new cultural highlight in Vienna. Involving around 100 artists each year, including both up-and-coming talents and established names in the world of opera, the festival offers a unique platform for creative development.
